Artist Leonie Brandner and I create installations+performances, often with singing and about beautiful mythologies.
Together, we have created:
IF ONLY: a 40' secular cantata for choir about the mandrake plant. Composed for young people's choir w/ soloists, it asks what kinds of hidden desires lead us to pursue magic plants. It will be performed in a 13th century secular knight's house in rural Switzerland with local community choirs.
MOSSOPERA: an installation opera for two voices, ceramic resonators, and dictaphones. It is performed by us, in an oversized moss-inspired balloon installation.
I arranged the choir music for her installation MY EARS ARE MY EYES.
